Experience List > | Service Information > Radon - Vapor Intrusion, Assessment & Remediation Industrial / Commercial ComplexEisenbach & Ruhnke, P.C.(E&R) developed vapor mitigation drawings and specifications to supporting the biding and contract installation of the vapor system designed. The site was a former warehouse, data center and daycare that was impacted with contaminants consisting of 1,1,1-Trichloroethane (TCA), Trichlorethene (TCE) and Tetrachlorethene (PCE). The system consisted of multiple high-suction, low volume fans to be installed on roof through the facility. Extraction points were connected to fans via a manifold and controlled with dampers.
CONSTRUCTION COST: estimated $150,000 Contact Person: Mr Tom Hatton
Schalmont Central School District – Radon MitgationEisenbach & Ruhnke, P.C.(E&R) provided services for designing multiple Sub-Slab Active Soil Depressurization (ASD) systems and Depressurization of utility tunnels to mitigate radon gas intrusion into the Woestina Elementary School. E&R worked with Clean Vapor LLC as cooperative design effort. Clean Vapors LLC provided diagnostic testing, soil communication results, mapping of vacuum fields and recommended on fan selection. E&R’s design provided definition of system piping, extraction points, piping layouts, electrical requirements, materials of construction, controls, wind loading and building code compliance. Contact Person: Mark Kellet, Director of Business Fayetteville - Manlius Central School District Eisenbach & Ruhnke, P.C.(E&R) provided services for designing multiple Sub-Slab Active Soil Depressurization (ASD) systems and Crawl Space Depressurization systems to mitigate radon gas intrusion into five public school buildings. All design work, diagnostics, system installation oversight and post mitigation confirmation was completed by E&R. Systems were designed and public bid for construction installation and startup. |
